Sustaining improvement.

Who we are
Polaris Learning supports schools with practical, evidence-informed professional learning across curriculum, assessment, pedagogy, leadership and implementation.
We help teachers and leaders move from good intentions to clearer decisions, stronger shared practice and action that can be sustained beyond the professional learning session.
What we do
Helping schools move from overwhelm to purposeful action
Schools are carrying complex work. Curriculum change, assessment, pedagogy, student learning, staff capability and leadership demands rarely sit neatly in separate boxes.
The challenge is not usually a lack of effort. It is often a lack of clarity, coherence and time to turn priorities into shared practice.
Polaris Learning works with schools to make that work clearer.
Our professional learning is designed to help educators understand the purpose of the work, connect it to their context, practise using practical tools, and identify the next steps that will make implementation more likely to stick.

How we work

Evidence-informed
We draw on research, system guidance and professional knowledge, but we do not treat evidence as a script. Schools need practical approaches that are informed by evidence and responsive to context.

Practical
Professional learning should leave people with more than ideas. It should give them language, tools, examples, structures and next steps they can use in their own setting.

Context-sensitive
Every school has its own history, priorities, strengths and constraints. We work with your context rather than dropping in a generic solution.

Implementation-focused
The session is not the finish line. The real work is what happens afterwards. Polaris professional learning is designed to support transfer into practice, so teachers and leaders leave knowing what to do next.
About Prue Pisani
Prue Pisani is an education leader, professional learning designer and founder of Polaris Learning.
She has worked across school, regional and system-level education roles, including leadership, curriculum implementation, professional learning design and school improvement. Her work focuses on helping educators make complex work clearer, more purposeful and more practical.
Prue brings together experience in teaching, leadership, curriculum, assessment, facilitation and implementation to support schools with professional learning that is grounded, useful and designed to move beyond the day itself.

Why Polaris exists
Professional learning should do more than inform.
It should help people think clearly, make better decisions, practise something useful and know what to do next.
Polaris Learning is built around that belief.
